Nestlé Purina Internship
The Nestlé Purina internship with CheckMark (CKMK), Purina's in-house agency, provided hands-on experience in developing creative solutions for various pet food sub-brands, including Pro Plan Vet Diets, Friskies, and Purina itself. I was tasked with designing print and digital media across these brands, creating cohesive visuals that aligned with each brand's identity while maintaining Purina's overall standards for marketing and communication.

I created a poster concept for the annual Purina Pet Parade, St. Louis’s largest annual pet event. The parade winds through historic Soulard, showcasing pets dressed in their best Mardi Gras attire, with all proceeds benefiting Open Door Animal Sanctuary. I chose to design an illustrated poster that emphasized playful typography and fluid, bendy illustrations, capturing the festive, lighthearted spirit of the event
I created a logo concept for Purina's HR Conference after their team expressed wanting a theme that replicated the energy and excitement of a music awards show, like the MTV Awards or VMAs. My design features sleek, modern typography paired with vibrant, eye-catching elements that convey the celebratory spirit of these iconic events.
I collaborated with the Friskies team to design and create 3D cardboard vessels, including a playful train and airplane, for one of their social media advertisements. From concept to construction, I focused on bringing the brand's lighthearted tone to life through detailed, handcrafted structures that added a fun, whimsical touch to the campaign.
I worked with the Pro Plan Vet Diets team to create shelf signage for pet retail stores. The signage was designed to encourage customers to ask an associate for the vet supplements line, as the product was often at risk of theft. The goal was to ensure secure access to the supplements.
